Tactic, Guatemala
God has made us what we are.
In Christ Jesus, God made us to do good works,
which God planned in advance for us to live our lives doing.
Ephesians 2:10
The Lord has opened the door for our family to go and serve in Guatemala. We are humbled and motivated by the love of Jesus and are thankful to share our journey with our friends, family, and community.
In July we'll be participating in a 2-week medical mission to the city of Tactic, Guatemala which is located approximately 4 hours north of the capital, Guatemala City. We will be working with Impact Ministries and doing remote medical clinics in various villages surrounding Tactic. Our kids will be helping with Vacation Bible Schools in the local schools.
We invite you to join us in prayer as we prepare for the upcoming trip. Please join us in praying for the following:
- Pray that God would bless our efforts to serve Him and provide just what we need for just the right time that we need it.
- Pray that He would confirm and direct us as we go, guiding us to take each step according to His will.
- Pray that our kids would be impacted, inspired and encouraged as they serve and seek direction for their future.
- Most of all pray that the people we encounter would experience God's love in a powerful way and be blessed by Him.
We have long dreamed, prayed, and prepared for such an opportunity and are now willing and open to however God may use us in the way He chooses. Our plan is to share this journey here!
Lord, you know what the future holds, we do not.
Lord please show us. Help us to be brave and obedient.
